How it works – buyers, sellers & landlords

Your feedback plays a vital part in improving standards within the estate agency profession.

AgentTracker provides independently verified customer reviews for estate agents – the real deal, ones that potential customers will know are genuine.

The process is easy, whether you’re a seller, buyer or landlord. On exchange or completion, the agent will ask you for your email address*, which they register with AgentTracker to create a unique PIN code. You will receive an email from AgentTracker with instruction on how to access the site and to leave your review of their service. You don’t need to leave your name if you don’t want to, but if you do, it will be displayed with your comments on AgentTracker.

You’ll be asked to write a few words about your experience and score your agent out of 5 in each of the following categories:

AgentTracker ratings
  • Communication
  • Friendliness of Staff
  • Professionalism
  • Knowledge of Area
  • Overall service

These scores are calculated to produce the rating and status displayed on the agent’s profile page.

After you’ve submitted your review, it will be held by AgentTracker for moderation. We may want to contact you to clarify anything that we don’t understand. We’ll also give the agent a chance to respond, whether the comments are good, bad or indifferent, before the comments are published.

*Your details will not be passed onto any 3rd party. If you are not asked for your email address you are still able to leave a review by logging onto and click onto ‘Rate an Agent’

If you’re buying, selling or renting out your property, the estate agent you choose can make a big difference. A good agent will take as much anxiety out of the process as possible, so it makes sense to do some research to find one that you’ll want to work with.

Search for agents in the area, or look up an agent by name. The search results will be shown in order of ranking according to their AgentTracker status and rating.

Gold or Silver status is given to agents who consistently achieve positive reviews: Silver, when an agent has received 8 positive reviews within the last 3 months, and Gold, when that is repeated in the following 3 months.
